Thakeham on Sky News
Group Managing Director Rob Boughton speaks to Kay Burley for Sky News about building a better future at the Conservative Party Conference, where she also tries her hand at brick laying…
The future of Housebuilding
The future of housebuilding in the UK is currently an issue widely discussed. With government targets set at increasing the number of homes built by 50% by 2020; the construction industry is at the forefront of change.
This year, Thakeham will be exhibiting at The Conservative Party Conference to ensure we are involved in the conversation of the future of housebuilding in the UK.
Our stand at this year’s conference will mark the first time one of the fastest growing developers in the South East has exhibited at the conference.
The Thakeham Difference
To celebrate our debut, we will be inviting delegates to be part of building a better future by trying Thakeham’s unique wall-building experience.
Those attending will be able to learn from the best in bricklaying and lay a few bricks themselves; while discovering Thakeham’s vision for the future of UK housebuilding.
The first time something like this has been exhibited at the conference, we’re hoping to illustrate the Thakeham difference.
Build for the future
Robert Boughton, Managing Director comments:
“The Conservative Party Conference is a wonderful opportunity to showcase and celebrate Thakeham’s business growth. But, more importantly, we have a specific aim to discuss how we build for the future and the community-building issues that matter most to our Housing Association and local government partners.”
