We recently completed construction of nine affordable homes off Foreman Road in Ash, Surrey. These affordable homes are part of a residential scheme that provides a mix of market and affordable housing, meeting the substantial need for housing within the Guildford Borough.
The nine affordable units are made up of five rented and four shared ownership properties comprising one two-bed house, four two-bed flats and four three-bed houses. Bought by Mount Green, an independent housing association with homes in and around Surrey, these new homes provide sought after affordable housing in the area.
The greenfield site development comprised associated infrastructure including access, roads and footpaths, car parking, sustainable drainage system and associated landscaping.
For Thakeham, Stuart Fullwood, business development director said: “Working in partnership with Mount Green, we have delivered a further nine high quality new homes for the affordable sector. The project ran to both budget and programme and we look forward to continuing to work with Mount Green to help meet the need for affordable homes in the local area.”
Nick Ronald Mount Green chief executive said: “Mount Green was pleased to be partner with Thakeham to deliver the affordable homes element. We have partnered with Thakeham on a number of sites and welcomed the opportunity to work with them again.
“Mount Green enjoys an excellent relationship with Thakeham and this is important to us. The high quality product and the professional delivery ensures our confidence in the new homes, as we enter into our long-term maintenance commitment.”
