Thakeham invite Mayor of Guildford to the completion of 60 new homes in Ash
Ash Completion Ceremony calls for Mayoral celebration
Thakeham are proud to mark the completion of 60 new homes in Ash in partnership with Sovereign.
In celebration we invited Mayor of Guildford, Councillor Dennis Booth and fellow councillors of Guildford county council into the development, in order to showcase the quality of the new homes that provide affordable housing to the local area.
Head of External Affairs, Tristan Robinson, welcomed all attendees into the development with a few words before starting the tour.

The ribbon-cutting served as a final milestone in creation of Grange Roads new development. Seeing the journey from turning a former disused stables & paddock into a new flourishing community is incredible, not only providing affordable housing but also a home to future generations to come.
We’re delighted to be working with Thakeham to build these quality new homes. This development marks Sovereign’s move east of our traditional geography and we’re hoping to continue this trend. The land here will be used to create a beautiful and affordable new community in Ash
Steve Trenwith, Land and Planning Director, Sovereign Housing Association.
Grange Road, Ash
Work on this high-quality development began in early 2021, This development took little over a year to complete. With house prices around the Ash area of Surrey sitting much higher than the national average, this new development will bring much-needed affordable housing to the local area.
Homes will consist of a mixture of one-bed and two-bed flats, and two-bed, three-bed and four-bed houses. This includes 28 new homes for affordable rent and 32 for shared ownership.
