Thakeham Client Appointed by Helical plc
Thakeham Client is delighted to confirm their appointment by Helical plc for the construction of 40 high specification cottages at Bramshott Place, Liphook, along with extensive external works including communal walled gardens and a croquet lawn.
Ongoing Demand for Retirement Housing
The £13.5 million scheme is an extension of the existing retirement village where all 155 units are occupied. Commencing this month, works are expected to complete in January 2018. Designed to complement the existing village, the 40 new cottages will meet an ongoing demand for luxury retirement housing in the area. Show cottages will be ready for viewing in June 2017.
A lifestyle choice
An attractive option for over 55’s, Bramshott Place offers a luxurious lifestyle. The clubhouse has a swimming pool, fitness room, library, meeting room accommodating 50 people, games room, restaurant and fully licensed bar, guest suite for visiting family and friends, and access to the terrace and clubhouse garden complete with art sculpture, benches, lawn for boules or croquet. The rural setting of 30 acres including woodland walks, meadow and a bat house is a fabulous setting and the new cottages are bound to prove popular.
Care Home provision
Plans are also in place for a 64 bedroom care home which will be built by a care home provider. Thakeham Client will be responsible for ensuring services to the site which lies to the north of the new cottages.
Renaissance Villages is a wholly owned subsidiary of Helical plc, specialising in high quality, age-exclusive homes for discerning buyers, set within new private village communities.
William Parry, head of development for Renaissance Villages, comments:
“We are delighted to be working with Thakeham Client on the latest phase at Bramshott Place. There is significant pent up demand for properties at this popular retirement community and we expect these cottages to continue to sell well off plan.”
