Case Study: Supporting Wildlife
We want seeing a hedgehog to be an everyday experience. Thakeham have worked with charity, Art N Oak, to turn scrap timber from our Woodgate development into hedgehog houses for the new homes, whilst training local people in carpentry skills.
Case Study: Ocean Sheroes
Thakeham was the Sustainability and Education partner for the Ocean Sheroes; a team of four record-breaking, intrepid rowers who set out to cross the Pacific Ocean to raise awareness of the plastics in our seas.
We felt so inspired by the Ocean Sheroes that we came together to litter pick to help clean up our local beaches.
