The Department

As the company grows there is a need to bring web site development management and social media strategy expertise in house to overhaul our web and social media presence, strategy and analytics. This post will be based in Billingshurst West Sussex with the option to work from home 3 days/week if preferred.

 

The Job Role

The successful candidate will; 

  • Managing websites and migrating web content to create a relevant, attractive, coherent web presence
  • Management of Social Media Coordinator and managing them to develop email and social campaigns, devising and managing strategic and business-focused web and social communications
  • Strategic curation of social media accounts including Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram and any other relevant channels, including content generation
  • Managing email platforms
  • Sourcing and managing external agencies on web development, SEO and content
  • Content generation, writing and proof-reading as required

This list is not exhaustive. Tasks will be allocated to reflect increasing levels of development and experience. 

 

The Required Skills

To be successful in this role, the candidate will ideally have:

  • Experience with CMS (WordPress)
  • Experience of migrating and/or project managing websites
  • Strategic and day to day management of consultancies and contractors
  • Solid project management skills
  • Good understanding and experience of strategic marketing planning and delivery
  • Good understanding and experience of website content, with strong digital, social marketing campaigns, developing collateral and planning and managing events
  • A ‘can do’ attitude with drive and the ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks at once whilst working to tight timeframes
  • Able and willing to work as a member of a team and to coordinate and support the fellow Communications team managers and mentor junior colleagues
