Goodwood Ball 2018
10th December 2018Exceeding expectations
Now in its fifth year, Thakeham hosted the Goodwood Ball 2018 at Goodwood House. It was a fabulous evening and the perfect setting for us to extend our gratitude to those that work with us to deliver exceptional results.
As we have grown, so has our trusted network. We were delighted in welcoming over 300 people to Goodwood House with an evening that ended in its traditional “bang!” with a magnificent fireworks display.
“Yet again Thakeham exceeded our expectations at the Goodwood Ball… the venue was exquisite, the food was delicious, the fireworks were just spectacular and of course the company was exceptional… we are so grateful and honoured to be part of the Thakeham family and look forward to working on some exciting projects in 2019!”

A legacy we can all be proud of
Building quality new homes for the private and public sector, creating places that stand the test of time, leaving behind a legacy of which we can all be proud – all possible because the team at Thakeham and those that work with us, our suppliers, contractors, consultants and professionals, work as part of the team. We are committed, we take pride in everything we deliver and the way in which we work.
Supporting Mission Motorsport
Thakeham believes in sharing its success through its support of several charities and organisations. We have had the pleasure of working with Mission Motorsport for almost five years and are delighted to have raised over £5,800 at this year’s Ball. We would like to thank our guests for their generosity.
“We are enormously grateful to Rob, Julian and the Thakeham team for their continued support of Mission Motorsport, a relationship which we’re proud to say has been ongoing for five years. The Christmas Ball was fantastic and the £5825 raised will make a genuine difference; we’d like to thank everybody for their contribution. Hopefully the raffle prize winners will wear their Mission Motorsport kit with pride and that Jeremy Taylor enjoys his private tour of the Tower of London.”

Aspirations for growth
“This year’s event was even more exciting as we celebrated our new position in “The Sunday Times Virgin Atlantic Fast Track 100”. We aspire to continue to grow while holding on to our core values, those which make up the Thakeham difference. Thank you from all of us at Thakeham for your dedication and hard work. We look forward to working with you all in 2019.”
Robert Boughton, Group Managing Director, Thakeham Group
To deliver the high standards we demand, we need a team we can rely on and trust. One that shares the same values as Thakeham.
“It is such a privilege to be invited to the Goodwood Ball – thank you Thakeham for hosting a wonderful event. The Ball provides a great opportunity to catch up with clients, colleagues and friends, old and new, and celebrate a great year with good food, drink and an awe inspiring fireworks display. I always leave feeling very proud to be a part of the Thakeham extended family and inspired to work hard to make next year even more successful than the last.”
