The Thakeham Difference
Thakeham will be at the Labour Party Conference 2021 to be part of the conversation on the future of sustainable housebuilding in the UK.
The future of housebuilding in the UK is a widely discussed issue, alongside the growing need for nature-based solutions. We are proud as industry leaders to make our transition to clean energy and grasp net zero by 2025.
We aim to discuss our plans for the future and demonstrate our commitment of what we have already done to make those important steps.
We will invite conference delegates to be part of building a better future by trying our unique house-building experience.
While piecing together the “Build a Future” house, delegates will have the opportunity to learn about Thakeham’s vision for the future of sustainable housebuilding and what we are currently doing to achieve our goals.
Having previously won Best Stand Award at other venues, we strive to deliver a valuable experience.
Armed Forces Silver covenant award
We are incredibly proud to be recognised for our ongoing support of the armed forces for the second time in two years. To become a signatory of the Silver Award Armed Forces Covenant shows our dedication and support provided to Reservists, Veterans, Cadet Force Adult Volunteers, spouses/partners and the wider Armed Forces community.
Rob Boughton, CEO, said: “Thakeham is one of a few home builders in the South East to receive a Silver Award. This accolade acknowledges the company’s armed forces-friendly culture. Importantly it also recognises the work and dedication many of you have undertaken to help achieve this recognition.”
Build for the future
Robert Boughton, CEO of Thakeham Group, comments:
“The Labour Party Conference is a wonderful opportunity to showcase and celebrate Thakeham’s business growth. But, more importantly, we have a specific aim to discuss how we build for the future and the sustainability issues that matter most to our Housing Association and local government partners.”
