Mud Monsters Run
4th May 2017Team Thakeham
The Thakeham team completed the Mud Monsters Run on Sunday 28th May, raising valuable funds for St Catherine’s Hospice (Crawley).
Congratulations to the Thakeham Lions, six (crazy) members of the Thakeham team who took part in the Mud Monsters Run in East Grinstead, Sussex on Sunday. The team raised over £1000 for St Catherine’s Hospice.
Teamwork!
The team pushed each other over obstacles, dragged each other out of mud, carried tyres, rolled over nets, launched themselves down muddy slides, immersed themselves in cold muddy water…and all in the name of fun and fundraising!
It took the team 2 hours 36 minutes to complete the 5km course. In their own words: “It was exhausting but we laughed a lot and we helped each other out so we could all finish together. We are delighted to have raised so much for St Catherine’s Hospice.”
