Thakeham Partnerships was awarded a project across five garage sites in the Lewes District. This exciting project had a combined contract value of £3.7m

The Partnerships team won the project after a competitive tender as one of five participants.

The scheme was contracted on a Design & Build basis using a JCT contract, with a contract build of 52 weeks. Some of the sites were technically challenging such as demolishing garages that formed part of a retaining wall. The retaining walls were supporting adjacent homes owned by the council.

The homes were built in accordance with BFL, HCA Design & Quality Standards, Lifetime Homes.

We were contracted to complete the project by 27th June 2017, but we completed the first site in February 2017, four months early, and the second/third sites in March/April. All five sites were completed on time and within budget.
