Overview
We partnered with Southern Housing to deliver a new development of 74 affordable homes in Newhaven, East Sussex.
Clifton Road promises one, two, and three-bedroom apartments to the local community, with carbon emissions at approximately half the UK average. The scheme will feature piled foundations and a solid concrete frame, all wrapped in a classic brick façade, and offers a commercial space on the ground floor.

Sustainability
We ensure our landscape-led development proposals integrate well with the local setting and have a benefit for local wildlife. We ensure that existing trees and hedgerows are retained wherever possible and plant new trees and shrubs in new green spaces.
We will also run an award-winning biodiversity educational programme, Eddie and Ellie in a local schools. Helping future generations understand more about the natural environment.

This Newhaven development will bring much-needed affordable homes to the area in addition to a community and arts space on the ground floor.
The development is split into two blocks. The front of the building has been designed to mirror the terraced houses on the street. It’s situated close to the River Ouse, with upper apartments being given a great view of surrounding countryside and out into the port of Newhaven.
