22nd May 2018The sun shines for St Catherine’s Annual Garden Fair in Cuckfield
Thursday 17th May
Thakeham is proud to support St Catherine’s Hospice as sponsors of the New Horizon’s Garden and Produce Fair in Cuckfield Park, West Sussex. We enjoyed the privilege of opening the fair with Bryan Mayou (owner of Cuckfield Park), Giles Tomsett and Catherine Blackburn from St Catherine’s Hospice and fellow supports Strutt & Parker.
This prestigious event is run by the St Catherine’s voluntary New Horizons Appeal Committee and is an annual event fondly known as West Sussex’s mini Chelsea. The day did not disappoint, with warm spring sunshine delighting visitors who were treated to a fine array of specialist plants, gardening products and locally produced food and drinks.
Cuckfield Park is a stunning setting and this annual event attracts many familiar faces, all keen to enjoy the day, head home with something special, and support St Catherine’s Hospice.
This year, St Catherine’s Hospice launched its Full Circle Appeal, to raise £20 million to expand its services so no one has to face death and loss alone. Everyone in the community deserves the best possible care and with all of our support, St Catherine’s wants to make sure they get it. Read more about the Full Circle Appeal
