We've appointed Alastair Skinner as first Chief Investment Officer to guide housing strategy, drive sustainable growth, and support transformation.

We've appointed Alastair Skinner as our first chief investment officer. In the newly created role, Alastair will support our executive and management teams to deliver growth and support business transformation.
The position has been created to supervise and guide our housing and pipeline strategy. His role will also oversee decision-making on asset allocation and risk management.
The appointment comes after Alastair served as managing director of Hargreaves Group for eight years, overseeing its transition from founder run to executive management. At Hargreaves Group, Alastair was the first non-family member to hold the position of managing director.
Rob Boughton, our founder and chief executive, said: “We are excited to welcome Alastair to our executive team as a new set of hands to support us during an important time for the business.
“This role will assist our strategic vision to delivering a number of projects that we believe will set the benchmark for sustainable development.”
Alastair added: “The quality and calibre of the team, the ambition and the commitment to communities and sustainability stand out and I am very much looking forward to supporting the shareholders, executive and business.”
