Bronze recognition for armed forces support

We are proud to have been recognised for our support of the armed forces.

The Defence Employer Recognition Scheme

The Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) is designed to recognise private and public sector support for the armed services. It encourages employers to support defence and inspire others to do the same.

We are delighted to be the first home builder in the South East to receive a Bronze Award. It’s an accolade which acknowledges our armed forces-friendly culture.

As a family-focused business we align closely with the values of the Armed Forces Covenant. The Covenant represents a simple pledge which we take very seriously. These are values which improve the way we operate; work together and engage with the communities we serve.

Continued Support

Last month we were delighted to be able to mark this year’s National Armed Forces Day with a £25,000 donation to Mission Motorsport.

Armed Forces Day is an annual opportunity for the country to show support for the men and women from the Armed Forces community. Mission Motorsport is an armed forces charity that helps members affected by military operations.

As a company, we have a long history of supporting local service people. Not only do we support the annual CTP Employment Fair which introduces service veterans to local and national employers, but we also run a ‘Talent for Development’ program.

Our ‘Talent for Development’ is an outreach campaign for military veterans and college leavers. A number of former armed service personnel now work for the company having benefited from the program.
