Named NFB Outstanding Housebuilder of the year
We’ve been named Outstanding Housebuilder of 2024 by the National Federation of Builders (NFB) at its annual Construction Awards of Excellence, which took place last night in Nottingham.
The NFB is one of the UK’s longest standing trade bodies, representing builders, contractors and house builders across England and Wales. Its Construction Awards of Excellence is designed to acknowledge and applaud different facets of the construction industry and highlight the achievements of a range of companies, from small contractors to large organisations.
We were successful in the Outstanding Housebuilder category – beating off tough competition from Home Republic and Keep Moat – in recognition of our commitment to quality, customer satisfaction, and innovation. The award judges were impressed with how we’ve navigated the recent challenging market and positioned ourselves as an industry leader in areas including sustainability, social value and modern methods of construction.
Some of the landmark progress made at our developments over the last couple of years also played a role in our award success. Delivering a fully resourced community and vital infrastructure at our exemplar Woodgate scheme, including a primary school, community-owned shop, community hub and upgraded transport links, was one such milestone that caught the judges’ attention. Our Ockford Ridge C scheme of 30 affordable net zero carbon homes and being selected as one of three housebuilders to deliver the first 600 units at Welborne, which will eventually comprise 6,000 homes in total, were also highlighted.
Commenting on receiving the Outstanding Housebuilder accolade, our Operations Director Matt O’Halloran said: “Being named Outstanding Housebuilder by the NFB is welcome recognition from our peers that we deliver great places to live, where quality homes sit alongside community infrastructure.”
Representing us alongside Matt at the Construction Awards of Excellence were Chief Production Officer Calum Semark, Chief Communications Officer Claire MacAleese, Managing Director of Advanced Richard Murphy and Director John Gaffney.
