Your partner for brownfield development
We partner with housing associations and local authorities to deliver much needed housing across the south east. We are experienced land developers, creating award winning rural communities from brownfield land.
Old Goods Yard, Lenham
A £23m partnership with MHS Homes
One of the largest contracts to date awarded by MHS Homes, redeveloping a brownfield site in Lenham, Kent.
On-site challenges caused by third-party high voltage cables, were mitigated by a dynamic resequencing of the build schedule. Part of these works involved routing these cables underneath a main railway line. The site also had challenges regarding foul drainage, the nearest point of connection being over 1km away from the site.
South Coast Road, Peacehaven
A £3.7m partnership with Lewes District Council
This scheme included five garage sites in the Lewes District. The homes were built in accordance with BFL, HCA Design & Quality Standards, Lifetime Homes.
Some of the sites were technically challenging such as demolishing garages that formed part of a retaining wall. The retaining walls were supporting adjacent homes owned by the council.
Wey Court, Godalming
A £3m partnership with Waverley Borough Council
This scheme involved the redevelopment of a brownfield site on the edge of Godalming. Consisting of 14 one-bedroom flats, 8 two-bedroom flats and 2 two-bedroom houses.
The existing building had been demolished by the local authority as it no longer met the decent homes standard.
Initial site investigations established that the site was contaminated, a problem exacerbated by a high-water table. Using the pile and raft system allowed us to minimise the amount of contaminated arisings that we needed to remove off-site.
