With Phase 1 and Phase 2 of this project completed, Thakeham Partnerships have now signed the build contract for Phase 3 at Ockford Ridge, Godalming.
This site is a 30 unit scheme, providing high quality social and affordable housing as part of Waverley Borough Councils regeneration of the Ockford Ridge Estate. The redevelopment includes the construction of newbuild homes solely for affordable housing. 18 new houses and 12 new flats will be made available for social rent and shared ownership purchases.
Work on site will begin in Autumn 2022, with expected completion in October 2023. The £7 Million contract is Thakeham’s fourth for Waverley Borough Council.
These 30 homes will be zero carbon in lifetime operation. Each home at Ockford Ridge will feature a pre-insulated frame, an air source heat pump, waste water heat recovery, photovoltaic solar panels and EV car charging for most plots.
