Thakeham’s Trainee & Recruitment Programme
The Talent for Development programme nurtures talent by structuring professional journeys, and supports attracting new skills and talent to join the Thakeham team.
We can offer employment opportunities that reflect the entire lifecycle of development, from land sourcing and planning promotion, running through architecture, technical design, engineering, quantity surveying, buying, site management, and on to marketing, sales, customer service and support administration.
We work with a team of highly professional hand-picked consultants, suppliers and contractors and believe in working closely together, promoting and communicating careers in house building and construction.
Encouraging transferable skills
As well as graduates, trainees and apprentices, we will be looking to attract Military Veterans. With approximately 120,000 military veterans of working age in Britain today, there is a wealth of skill and talent looking for new opportunities. Thakeham is keen to support the drive to place Service leavers in new careers in house building and construction.

The Engineering Department co-ordinates and manages the design of the infrastructure elements on a wide range of projects from inception through to delivery. Due to our continued growth we are looking for an Engineering Manager to work in a newly created role reporting to the Engineering Director.
Purchase Ledger Clark
Due to our continued growth we are looking for a Purchase Leger Clerk to join us for a fixed term period of three months with the possibility for this to extend or become a permanent role.

Development Marketing Manager
The Marketing Department is a dedicated team responsible for delivering a range of Thakeham Group and Thakeham homes development marketing campaigns, internal communications, brand awareness and PR across a broad spectrum of media, launches. exhibitions, national events and CSR campaigns.
The Technical Department has a thorough understanding of all aspects of construction and controls, understands and manages external consultants to achieve timely delivery of value engineered solutions.
The role holder’s primary responsibility will be for ensuring the correct & timely production of the monthly management accounts packs for the two main operating businesses for review by the Financial Controller & Financial Director.
